Could this be Osteonecrosis?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : About Joints : One Thread

I've had a cramping, aching pain in my lower left side that radiates to my hip, and I can feel the same pain in my leg and sometimes shoulder. But it's mostly in my lower left groin area. It started two years ago when I was 38 years old. I assummed it was female related, and have had a complete hytectomy a few weeks ago. Doctors found a lot of Cysts, Fibroids, Endometriosis, and Adenomyosos. Now the pain has returned! I thought maybe it was the Endo returning, but I came across a website about Osteonecrosis, and am wondering if this could be what my problem is all along? I don't limp or anything, but am having to take pain pills every day because of this pain in my lower left side and hip (and sometimes shoulder and knee). If it does sound like it, what sort of doctor do I need to see to diagnose this? I also have the antibodies for Lupus and Rheumatoid arthritis, but my symptoms sound more like this Osteonecrosis. HELP!

If you think that you have symptoms of osteonecrosis you would need to see an orthopaedic. Typically an MRI is needed to diagnose this disease, depending on how far along it is.
