I saw the movie on July 15, 2004, just before my surgery.Just like in the movie The Passsion of the Christ when I saw Mary running to protect her son, I felt also tears coming out of my eyes when I saw the mother who had lost her soldier son in Iraq. Also, when the Arab woman who had lost relatives during the attacks was calling on Allah to bring her justice.
This movie did bring a lot of reaction from the audience while I was watching. There were many voiced opinions while it was being shown on screen.

There was omething not mentioned in the movie directly but indirectly. At the end of the movie, there is a number of 2973 victims in the attacks. Divide 2/2 and you get 1. That is 1973.What happened in 1973? Like the old saying goes, what goes around comes around.
On the other September 11, 1973,Bush's father, as part of the CIA convinced an obscure general the, Augusto Pinochet Ugarte to depose the elected President, a socialist by the name of salvador Allende. Allende died in the coup. Not only him, but well over 5000 Chileans. Their only crime was that they were socialists. Some were thrown from airplanes and their bodies found many days later. Others buries alive, burned, shot, tortured in a soccer stadium,....Others were assassinated in Argentina , the USA,...
Pinochet has not yet faced real justice.
I asked God why he allowed murderers like Pinochet go unpunished....
I waited 28 years to see at least some dark justice.

One thing I get tired of is hearing Republicans whine about this movie and how evil liberals are. I've downloaded the movie (Since Moore said on TV, we are free to download it as long as we don't try and make a profit out of it) but haven't watched it.

His ranch is probably like 7 or 8 hours away from me. I haven't seen that movie around much in the theathers, nor have I heard people from here talk about it.

Here is more info on my mother's dreams about 9/11 and even before that, about Clinton.By the way, this was 2 weeks before 9/11. She saw 4 red planes(the hijackers) and one blue(Bush). Bin Laden in a cave with 3 women with 7 children accompanying him. He has around 15. I know one of his Abdullah has been living in saudi Arabia working for the Bin Laden family.

5 of my students have seen it, David.I think they wanted more action. Maybe our new generation is already immune to seeing dead people or badly injured people in movies and video games.

The movie is oure propeganda, its that simple. Much of it is distortion, a lot of speculation toted as fact, and only one side of the issue is covered.Also, Moore uses the same tactics he accused Bush of doing, and he lies in the movie as well. All of this is well known, so I really dont think I need to watch soemone elses bad proeganda and be tol what to think. Least of all if it refuses to acknowledge all the facts, the other side of the debatre, and is deceptive.

The left has Moores film, which is Ironiclaly an embarrassment ot most DEMOCRATES I know, but the right doesnt have anythign at all.(Note: If you say " Bush and his press conferences" or other such things, clinton, and all presedents, hav doen the same thing. Moore's movie should be seen, but it should be taken with a grain of salt. Is it propaganda? Probably. But I am sure there are some truths to the film. There have been Republicans that have said that everyone should see this movie.Kevin, who cares what O'Reily has to say? He wins all of his arguments because he doesn't let the other person answer.

i saw the film just a few days ago.very, very interesting and thought-provoking, and a film that just had to be made.
i have also read the book.
the part that most struck in the film - apart from the terrible personal tragedies that Elpidio mentions - was the disenfranchisement of the coloured voters in Florida and the representations (before Gore) that failed to get a single senator to back them up.
i understand that disenfranchisement wil be an issue this time too.
Bush does not come out of the move too well, and i do not think you can blame Moore for that. all he did was hold a camera as Bush behaved with quite appalling arrogance. "we are going to bombed but just watch me thrash this golfball,.....".
born with a silver spoon, probably never had to do anything for himself in his whole life, and his kids look like going down the pan too.
i suppose that he plays the religious ticket pretty well. that presumably wins a great many votes by itself.
the blank, lost look on his face as he sat in that classroom having just been told that he Twin Towers were being attacked was most telling. without advisors, he decided to pick up and read about "Billy the Goat".

but I am against him on matters of staying indefinetly in Iraq, the deficit, a falling dollar (the USA doesn't know what it means that your money is no longer worth a penny,....like Mexico and other nations have experienced since the 1970s..).
