I went to pull my rear wheel to do a brake job last night and I need a bigger wrench or socket, but I'm not sure what size to pick up. It's almost an Inch, but does anyone know what the correct metric size is?

I think you were looking for the SOHC board - it's a bit lower on the Greenspun list, this board is for MV Agusta F4 Owners.
