How can u rip a mp3 from a dvd? People do it all the time and I want to know how so does any1 know? Do I need a program or sumtin?

check out www.dvdhelp.us I believe you must first rip the DVD using something like dvd decrypter which is free. the ripped DVD will be in VOB format. from there you can do anything you like, like stripping the audio file to re-encoding it to any format(like xvid, mpeg 1, e.tc. Just make sure you check out that website.
