Let's Pray for Rev. Denise Rogers

greenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread

It is good to have you back Rev. Rogers!!! You are a breath of fresh air on this discussion board. Truly your spirit comes out in your posts which are mostly positive and uplifting.

However, I am calling on all members of this board to pray for Rev. Rogers at this time while she is undergoing a great deal of trials and tribulations. I heard a minister say that Christian people who are doing the will of God should expect vicious satanic attacks. They should also expect to see God's magnificent power displayed during the storm also.

Heavenly Father please forgive me for my sins before I approach the throne of grace and mercy. Father, thank you for bringing Rev. Rogers back to this board and I pray that you will regenerate her spirit and make her more aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit in her life than all of her years before this time. I pray that you will empower her and make Your will for her life crystal clear to her and give her success. I pray that you will protect her from dangers seen and unseen. I pray that you will protect her from having a heart attack or any other complication of diabetes. I pray that you will protect her from depression and anxiety. I pray that you will give her the peace that surpasses all comprehension. I ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Jazzman, I love you to pieces! You will always be my baby brother. I am being taken care of very well, because my town is so small I have to be flown by helicopted to a bigger city. But I am home resting.

I am just frustrated that our website does not work. The KKK periodically come to my town. That is why it is crucial to have an ame presence here. I will rest and God restores me. My spirits are high, and I am ready to serve God and my church.

I just hope that this board can be inspiring and encouraging, we have a lot of work to do for our zion. Can you imagine what our zion would be like if each one of us would lift high the cross instead putting down our zion.

Thanks jazzman, it will take more than illness and the KKK to keep me down!
