Hi Everyone,

About a week ago I had my first magazine shoot covering a news event in San Francisco. I basically went from a student to a freelancer that week.

I have never dealt with a publisher before and would like to know what is normal to charge for my photos. All images are digital.

I have not discused rights with the magazine yet. Its a small locally based magazine with about a 20,000 circulation.

Im sure there is some more info that you need that I am leaving out without knowing, but if anyone can give me an idea to start with, I would greatly appreciate it.
