I was diagnosed with ON 2.5 years ago. I was treated with a "venting process" to encourage revascularization. The pain disappeared immediately after surgery. The MRIs have shown the lesion at 1.8 - 2.2 cm consistently for 2 years. There has been no progress of the disease. The pain post surgery gradually increased after the initial painfree 6 months post-op and sustained at a 7 on a scale of 1-10 for the last year. My doctor has never heard of such a thing. What can I expect?
