Hi, I think this might have been discussed before, but is there any way zipcar can move to a msg board system that has some system to hide the email address of the posters? I was an idiot and put my primary email address on some previous posts; i'm concerned that spam bots will get my email address since this board is indexible by search engines.

There's a bunch of great freeware/open-source bulletin board programs out there...

An easy work-around for this is to use www.spamgourmet.com, which is free.

Here's how it works.

I've got the spamgourmet address xxx.yyy.rsb@spamgourmet.com. Anytime I want to post in public and am afraid of spambots, I replace xxx with anything I want (e.g. zipcar) and yyy with a number between 1 and 20. For example, zipcar.5.rsb@spamgourmet.com will forward the next five emails to my actual email address, and any after that will be immediately trashed.
