terminated while on disability

I have been off on disability since 2/25/04 and now getting therapy it is now 3/22/04 the last doctors note I have states bed rest but no return date, so I am still continuing therapy. I get a phone call from supv that the dept is no longer releasing my paychecks. Then I receive a letter dated 4/9/04 from the HR dept. stating I am terminated for failure to report to work. I am not suppose to be at work. I go to unemployment and they denied my benefits stating that I was terminated for misconduct? In the mean time I then received a letter from our employee service center they handle all disabilities. This letter is dated 4/9/04 and it states that I am eligible for disability benefits until 4/15/04. I will become ineligible on the check dated 4/15/04 unless provide further documentation to support my continuing disability. Is this letter from the disability department legal standing that I was still off on disability? What is going on? I was not suppose to be at work and the disability department states that. It clearly states that I am eligible for disability benefits until 4/15/04. Did my employer behave hastefully?
