Return to work

I am a 51 year old female who has had both hips replaced due to AVN-the first in Jan 03, the next in Sep 03. Prior to replacement I had a bone core decompression in Nov 01. My physical therapy was limited to 6 weeks post-op. I am now 9 months into recovery. I returned to work, taking a job in Visitor Services at a Maritime Museum. The work requires me to stand for 7 to 8 hours a day most days that I work. Other days I sit for as many hours. My problem is that I feel like I've regressed 1/2 a year in my recovery. I have aches and pains-and stiffness that I thought had gone away months ago, and I have never felt this tired in my life. I am actually very worried. Could it be due to the number of surgeries that I've had in a short period of time? I also underwent a hysterectomy in Sep 99. Does anyone have similar experiences? Any advice? It is not necessay for me to stay employed at this time, but I'd like to believe that someday in the near future I'll have the choice to return to work.
