This week MCN has changed its tune from what it said last week about the F41000. It is tested in this weeks edition against the new R1 and RSV-R. The report says the F4 leaves the R1 in its wake. Interesting reading.Hope to be getting mine any week now.

Thanks heaps Julian..cant wait to read it, ive been to every newsagent we have down here and cant find it. I read the australian motorcycle news issue which Ian mentioned and it sounded good. But interested in reading how it stacked up against the R1. Have you got a date for your 1000 delivery yet, my latest is the end of July. mick

I was in at Paul Feeney's this morning and they had the MV F4 1000 solo seat and a MV F4 1000 1+1 red and silver sitting there. As well as a few 2nd hand Evo 1, 2 and 3's a F4 SR an SPR a Senna, series Oro Brutale and MV F4 Oro ... like a candys store, the 999R looked out of place amongst them all.

Paul said they are working on the final price (around $32,000) but given the Euro has fluctuated around 5c in the dollar over the last months they are having difficulties locking in the final prices.

Tempting as it may be I'll stick with the 750 until all the F4 1000 bugs are ironed out of the system

Mick, delivery date is the "same" as you, end of July perhaps early August, no hurry now particularly given the weather plus I still have my Senna to keep me company !!! Cheers Julian
