I'm back

Did anyone miss me? I've actually been back longer but between doing the laundry, upgrading the animal care (I try to keep it simple for my friends, like no barn cleaning) and work, I've been too beat to write at night.

Disney was great as usual but there is always so much walking!!! The new Mission Space ride was unbelievable...no, I mean it was too believable, you really felt like you were shooting into space. They even had birds flying around the rockets before we shot off. G forces and all.

We also went to Univeral Studios and got on the Mummy ride before it's official opening. As we were strapping in, my son tells me it was rated one of the 5 scariest roller coasters in the country. "This is a roller coaster?" I'm yelling as we set off. It was really fun and I ended up going on it at least 7 times. We were there for the official opening and all the advance tickets were sold out an hour after the park opened. We ended up waiting in a 45 minute line at the end of the day for one last ride but were glad that we had so many rides the other days.

Gary and I also went to Sea World. He really injoys it there. I got a sample of some dark beer that I would have never tried elsewhere and they also gave me a taste of some really dark beer that I kept saying, "Eeew, eeew, ew" after a sip. We didn't get as wet this year in the wet zone of the killer whales. They just kept missing us. But it did rain hard for a little while after that, so...

Glenn has decided he wants to move to Florida again. (His partner wants to go so I guess it's okay again) We rented a car and we were going to take a detour bring it back but I mixed up our plane times so we didn't have the extra 2 hours I thought. Actually, our plane was held for two hours because of expected bad weather in NJ. The also held a circle around VA for 40 minutes too. (did I tell you I don't fly well? Another drink please) We finally got home after 11:30 at night. Gary got to stayed home one more day. I had him get work from the teachers so he could keep up with the class. He ended up being ahead of his History and English classes. He has to make something up in Chemistry.

Well, hope everyone is well. Talk to you soon.

Dee, I didn't know they were putting a Mummy ride at Universal in Florida. I thought only the park in California was getting one. I saw a preview for it at the movie theater last night while waiting for the movie to start and it's looks really scary. I would probably be screaming profanity all the way through it. Did you go on the Hulk roller coaster? Keith already knew the secret about the first hill and didn't tell me, just so he could hear me scream. The rat! One of my friends is an engineer at Universal, he helped design the Men in Black ride.

I don't fly well either, but I stay away from the drinks because I get airsick. Drunk and puking is not the way I want to travel. :)

Glad you had a good trip.

I don't usually go on roller coasters. I will go on Space Mountain usually once because since it is dark, I really don't know what it looks like. If I saw the thing in the light, I would never go on it. Gary would laugh every time a loud sound would come out of me. He liked it right in the front. Glenn would be behind me saying "Wee, wee, wee" It was really annoying and funny at the same time.

We love Men In Black. We got to go alone a few times, get the best score then and usually get a suit. Most people don't know there are two different endings. Gary's highest score was 345,000. They said most of the employees don't reach that high. He was happy but wanted to beat his score again but we ran out of time.

They have these new pictures where you dress up. You could look like a Maiden or Fairy. I wanted to do it but then the additional costs if I wanted to add a Unicorn or Dragon and shading...

Oh, I forgot to mention. One of the workers was telling Glenn that they look for retired cops to work, I forgot how he put it but it was on the lines of running things. Not just security of checking bags, which they did before we were allowed into the parks. So, he already has a job if we move down there.
