I was just wondering if there are any sources to help me research if musin effects the ID and ego or super ego. I am doing a presentation in class on this on friday.

There are several comtemporary books on the psychology of music (see Amazon.com for reviews), but you may particularly want to look at a classic book entitled "The psychology of music" by Carl E. Seashore (1938). It was written at a time when the terms id, ego, and superego were possibly a little more commonly used. You may also want to check out "music therapy" using the Google search engine. I hope this helps. Paul
