I believe Ezboard tops all. Keeping emails private, allowing anonymous posters ("Guests"), banning, more moderation features...etc.

Ah! the EZ board. I would have to upgrade my computer becoming vulnerable to the most current virul world of cyberspace. I have an IBM Think Pad, which has remained "clean", but this old computer just can't operate in that EZ board cuz this computer is too old.

The Yahoo board takes too long to 'refresh' the threads/posts. I posted a reply to Elpidio. It still hasn't made the board. Also, I don't exactly like all that advertising in that Yahoo forum. I mean; we would be leaving this for because of the spamming done here. The Yahoo forums take the cake as far as spamming goes. It is constant spamming. I don't exactly need a date from some strange chick. My wife would not approve....hee...hee. .................

EZboard does look pretty good. More along the lines of other up to date boards I've seen. Should make moderating that much easier.

In light of this new info about security, are we still switching boards? I am confused. I would rather stay at greenspun if possible. EZboards doesn't look so easy. lol. Can we have a blanket, yes or no answer?

We're staying here for now. But it'd be nice to get a backup forum going. But Philip Greenspun has said that when the sever dies, he won't revive the forums. So we don't know how long these forums will stay on. But when the forum dies, I think I'd probably be going to the Ezboard forum I started.

Yea, yahoo's thread system and ad's are annoying. Atleast Ezboard gives ads that go with what you discuss, and threads are similar to greenspun.
