UNC?

Why are there cars at UNC? Does this mean a relative of one of the Zipcar execs goes to school there? I notice the two cars that used to be in Denver are gone. Seems like a waste of resources. And where is Beetle Brazil?

UNC is no doubt a great place to go to school, although none of us has. We hear the weather is nice. UNC has contracted with Zipcar in their continuing efforts to reduce congestion in Chapel Hill and demand for on-campus parking.

Denver was an experiment involving LNG (liquid natural gas) civics and was a good experience for us in learning about supporting self- sustaining remote operations. Much of what we learned will help make the UNC effort successful.

Beetle Brazil is retired. I like to imagine that she has been put in rotation in the Sao Paulo taxi fleet and a remake of 'Black Beauty' will be based on her life in the next few years.

I have retired from Zipcar. I am actually in Rio, but Stephen is right that I am moonlighting as a gypsy cab while I work on my career as a dancing Beetle during Carnivale. It doesn't pay well, but the side-benefits are amazing (wink). I also got some surgery and a make over for my new life.
