I have been recently told about Perthes and my son will need an operation on the top part of his thigh. They will be taking a part out of his leg to fill in the socket in the hip area, I wanted to know if it would be possible for them to use part of the bone in my le to save my son having a plate in his. I hope this makes sense as I'm not sure how to ask this!
