I stumbled upon an article by IGN (click here to read it) About a new zelda project that's being worked on.

Anyone remeber the Zelda demo from 2000 that everyone thought was going to be the next Zelda, before the developers decided to go with the cel-shading of windwaker? This is supposed to be a continuation, along with that theme. Looks to me like an older, darker (cooler!) Link, here.

There's also a trailer for it: windows media, you can download it, quicktime, you have to register at IGN. I saw the WMV version of it: it's about a minute long, and it looks awesome.

So, any comments on this thing? Are the people at Nintendo doing a good job going this way?

Oh my GOD dude!! It looks so amazing I may cry!! I hate it when people dismiss Wind Waker as a childish game bassed solely on the graphics, because not only were the graphics great but the game itself kicked ass. But...WOW. Even though Wind Waker had an interesting art style I'm glad as HELL they decided to improve on OOT and MM's style of graphics. The landscapes, the combat...And Link is actually hot now!!!!! I just can't believe we have to wait until 2005 for this clearly amazing revolution in the Legend of Zelda!!
