A good place to read about Bittorrent is at http://www.dessent.net/btfaq/

Do you have a router by the way??

Well, actually the speed of the download all depends on how many

Leechers, Seeders, How many Completed Downloads, and what day/time the Torrent was Uploaded.

i do have a router and its hooking up 3 computers. and if the speed is determined by the amount of users then it would be going 100000 Kib/second because everyone who requests episodes some1 says a site that has torrents even on kazaa theres torrents.

Have you tried to forward ports on you router. It will make your download much faster. Do a little google on your router's model+forward ports+bittorrent. Usually there will be plenty of pages that explain steps by steps how to forward ports.

I remember being connected to 12 peers and 27 seeds on one torrent and it still takes me 1 and a half day to finish. What happens is that the torrent I was using had 100 seeds and 200 peers, and the seeds that I'm connected to are connected to other peers as well, so the speed of the seed all went to other people.
What you need to understand about BT is that people that sends stuff to you are most likely not on a line that can send you at 400 KB/S, and if there is, that speed gets shared by other people that are connected to the sender.
