Hello to all. I am considering purchasing a 2nd hand RG3 muffler which has silver end tips instead of the black ones. The seller advises me that they came like that from the factory. Does anyone know if the factory made them with silver ends? Thanks.

The only RG3 pipes I know of with silver endcans are the Titanium ones. They're quite a bit dearer, so if the price is good you may have a bit of a bargain.

Actually the ones he's referring to are currently on Ebay and they are indeed silver tipped and they are the standard RG3's not the titanium ones. I spoke w/the owner(has an '04 SPR on Ebay right now for only 19K as well...) and he said that is what Ferraci sent him. They do indeed say RG3 on the pipes and say "for race use only". If I'm not mistaken they recently started selling the RG3 "silver tips" to go w/the new silver polish paint scheme on the wheels as they are the same color.

Hi Fiorello I ordered RG3 and the EPROM direct from MV Special Parts about 2 months ago, they came with the silver tips and are definately not the titanium pipes. It must be the new colour they are using. Take care Sean
