Unequal distribution of cars in Brooklyn

greenspun.com : LUSENET : zipcar : One Thread

Why have you put four cars in Park Slope and only one in each of the other neighborhoods (Prospect Heights, Cobble Hill, etc.). The one car for Prospect Heights is actually located almost in Park Slope, and it's always booked well before the weekend. There used to be three cars in Prospect Heights, and it seemed like they were used quite a bit. Please don't slight the rest of Brooklyn.

We respond to need, adding cars in neighborhoods as the demand increases. We got ahead of ourselves in Brooklyn, and re-deployed some of the cars to other areas with more demand. We'll be back as demand increases.

I will sign up for Zipcar as soon as there is one close enough to me.

Sadly, southern Brooklyn is considered too backwards for people to ever consider marketing or selling things down here, and I'm afraid it will never make this end of things.

I'm in Sheepshead Bay, by the way, a mile away from a train station.
