Are there any pictures of the cars anywhere? Short of visiting every car in the city, how can I tell if a bike will fit in the back of some model? I don't even know what half of these things are. What's a "Matrix"? What's a "XA" or "AX" or whatever? Can you get a bike in the back of a Jetta? Civic? Focus? Golf? Which ones fit two? The only thing I'm sure if is nothing will fit in a beetle. I'd rather not spend a day or two schlepping around all over town to find out which ones are big enough.

I looked all over the web site and could not find a single picture of any of the cars. I am auto challenged and would love to see pictures of what I'm renting. . .any chance of that?

I'd suggest going to edmunds.com and typing in the model name. Even without the correct make, you will get a picture and other specs brought up quickly. The pictures and info will be more comprehensive than zipcar is likely to provide. Zipcar should provide basic information on the size of each car's storage space, however.

I would also find it helpful to have pictures of cars--perhaps in their "regular" spot--posted on the website. I wasted a good 10 minutes of my reservation looking for the Zipcar amongst cars in a half full parking lot. . . that was next to another parking lot. It would have been helpful to have additional visual clues.
