First af all I wnat to state that I am not interested in downloading illegal copies of movies. Here is my question: I live in Guatemala, Central America and here at the streets, you can find a lot of VCDs containing recent movie releases, even when they have not been released in DVD, my question is: How do they get these copies?, I wonder if they download them form the web, or even if they tape them with a camcorder inside a movie theater, that sounds incredible but I was at home watching one of these movies on VCD and something like a guy stood up!

Yes, people tape them with camcorders inside movie theatres. It has been reported that sometimes in American movie theatres, employees will put on "night vision" goggles and look for people using camcorders. Certain states have very strict laws against this and people have been sent to prison for it.
