Are the Paulists a problem

Are the Paulists a problem? I keep reading in articles about Kerry that says that he attends a Paulist center in Boston. The articles then say that people attend the Paulists' Masses because the Paulists don't emphasis the moral rigidness of the Vatican.

Article Here

The most interesting parts of this article are
"The Paulist Center attracts Catholics uncomfortable with some of the Vatican's orthodox teachings or who otherwise feel alienated from the Roman Catholic Church."

"The congregation includes gay couples, whose adopted children are baptized there, unlike in some other Boston parishes. In November, its leaders refused to read aloud during Mass from a letter opposing gay marriage, as requested by the Massachusetts bishops."

as always, any organization which is in direct opposition to the vatican and refuses to follow the directives of the vatican and/or the USCCB is not actually a catholic organization. they are not tending the flock by harboring sin and making it feel welcome and warm and fuzzy... they are making christianity into secularism.

Yes, but unlike the Traditionalist movements, such as SSPX, they will not be kicked out.
