Leg 9 is 9.9km. It's starting to get serious.

Soedertaelje has moved up just ahead of TP at the exchange to begin this leg. The rest of the actors up front seem to be the same.

The leg will be run in a fair bit of light it seems.

We're back at the radio control in the large felled area (or with some low trees and marsh). The cameraman is really good here, zooming in on the action for us. The commentary is interesting, I assume, but I can't understand it. The daylight helps.

This coverage makes the race very exciting!

I should mention, there's a light rain falling now. Now it really looks like a Swedish meet should!

At the first radio on leg 9, Halden led by about 14 minutes, then the first group of 3 (K.R., Soedertaelje, and TP), a gap of 2.5 or more minutes then a second group of 3 (Kristiansand, Goteborg-Majorna, and DELTA). J. Rostrup has the baton for Kristiansand.

At the second radio, the situation looks similar, although at the time of this writing Kristiansand's result hasn't been posted.

Meanwhile, Sandvik has already passed the warning control and is on his way to hand off to Mats Haldin for Halden.

Where did Rostrup go?...

It's beginning to look like the 3 clubs K.R., T.P., and S-N. will be the ones to bat it out for the rest of the medals. The other 2 in there would be DELTA or Goteborg-Majorna. The runners are Thierry Gueorgiou, Michal Jedlicka, Niclas Jonasson, and David Shepherd for KR, TP, S-N, and G-M respectively. I'm not sure who will run the last leg for DELTA.

DELTA will be anchored by V. Novikov, I think.

As for Kristiansand, they seem to have ended up "ej fullf." and don't have a place in the results now. That doesn't sound good.
