Dixon's dream

An excerp from this place:

At she gazed outside she saw, nt the bare-limbed trees and city street below, but a bright blue sky above a barren desert. Just above the horizon was the brightest sun that she had ever seen, glowing like a golden ball. Splashing from the orb in every direction were brilliant rays which seemed to be drawing the earth toward it like a magnet. Stepping out of the brightness of the sun's rays, hand in hand, were a Pharaoh and Queen Nefertiti. Cradled n the Queen's other arm was a baby, his ragged, soled clothing in startling contrast to the gorgeously arrayed royal couple. "The eyes of this child were all- knowing," Jeane say softly. "They were full of wisdom and knowledge."

A little to one side of Queen Nefertiti, Jeane could glimpse a pyramid. While she watched entranced, the couple advanced toward her and thrust forth the baby, as if offering it to the entire world. Within the ball of the sun, Jeane saw Joseph guiding the tableau like a puppeteer pulling strings. Now rays of light burst forth from the baby, blending with those of the sun and obliterating the Pharaoh from her sight. Off to the left, she observed that Queen Nefertiti was walking away, "thousands of miles into the past." The Queen paused beside a large brown water jug, and as she stooped and cupped her hands to drink she was stabbed in the back by a dagger. Jeane says that she "distinctly heard her death scream as she vanished."

Jeane shifted her gaze back to the baby. He had by now grown to manhood, and a small cross which formed above him began to expand until it "dripped over the earth in all directions. Simultaneously, peoples of every race, religion, and color (black, yellow, red, brown and white), each kneeling and lifting his arms in worshipful adoration, surrounded him. They were all as one," Unlike previous visions, which had gradually faded away from Jeane, this one moved ever nearer until she seemed to be in the very midst of the action, joining int he adoring worship. "I felt a tiny seed ready to sprout and grow," she says, "But I was only one of millions of similar seeds. I knew within my heart. "here is the beginning of wisdom" The room was becoming dark again, and though she was still caught up in the spell of the vision, Jeane glanced automatically at her bedside clock. The time was 7:17 a.m.

Elpidio

the Pope is still alive.

you dream that he would die last year. ypu went to the bother of publishing the dream. you made an awful fool of yourself.

you also dreamt that President Bush was going to be assassinated, if i recall. he is alive.

why do you keep pushing this?

PS you are NOT a Christian.

I had a dream too once, that I looked like a top model. I'm hoping this is a premonition.

-- Gillian Dickenson (Gilliantwin@msn.com), February 12, 2004.

That's strange. I dreamed that I too was a top model. I take very short naps now in order to clear my mine. Just joking around.

I had the pope and president dreams, too.

I dreamed being married to a top model. *shivers at thought of marrying rod*

-- Luke Juarez (hubertdorm@yahoo.com), February 12, 2004.

Ian,

like I said,

How will you interpret 2 more of 4 planned? is it 2? or 2+4=6?

If 6, then It makes sense why he is still alive.

Rod, another Lady, my mother, Rod, we all have had dreams about the Pope in the last couple of years as far as I know.

About that dream of Jean Dixon. She was famous for making predictions. Yet, that dream intrigued her. As the years passed by she began to change its interpretation.

Yet, the core of her dream states that this person she sees first as a baby, then growing up into adulthood, will establish a new religion over the Earth. She died without ever knowing whether her prediction was right. According to her, this would be known to the world at the turn of the 20th century. At the beginning of the 21st century I only have seen these religious movements: Athenism, New age, Gnosticism, Iglesia Universal del reino de Dios,...and Yahwism.

Yahwism espouses many beliefs these days.

-Jehovah's witnesses (adopted name around 1930s) -Holy Name -Assemblies of Yahweh -Yahweh's restoration Movement -..... Most of these tend to be Jewish in practice.

Then there is mine. The Way, The Church of Yahweh in Christ Jesus. This is Christian Yahwism at its best. An offshoot of Pauline Chistianity. An all embracing type of Yahwism using Jesus teachings.

Famous Elohists(before Gos was called yahweh): Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph...

Famous Yahwists( before the coming of Paul): Moses, Joshua,Samuel, David, Isaiah, Hezekiah, josiah, Jeremiah, Elijah, Elisha, Zechariah, ...John The baptist, Jesus The Nazorean...

Famous Messianic Jews (Known as Nazoreans, later Ebionites): Peter,Thomas,Phillip, John,, James the Lord's brother,...Mark

Roots of Christian Yahwism start here. These early Christians still believed Jesus wasn't God himself. Yet, they believed God's mesage of salvation was for everyone.

Pauline Christians(First Christian Yahwists)(followers of Paul of Tarsus):Silas, Luke, ...

Later, the message got diluted and mixed with other religious beliefs. Thus creating many dualistic systems and trinitarian systems. Pauline Churches Older ones which disappeared in name only: -Arrians

(Modern ones still in existence): -Syriac orthodox (oldest) -Roman Catholic -Orthodoc Catholic -Arminian , Ethiopian and Coptic -Nestorian -Protestants(several churches) -Anglicans -Pentecostals -....

Christian Yahwism is a return to Early Pauline Christianity with a modern outlook.

Elpidio,

do you believe that the Sacrifice of Our Lord on the Cross atoned for our sins?

-- Ian (ib@vertifgo.com), February 12, 2004.

Yes, Ian.

The Man of Yahweh

-- Elpidio Gonzalez (egonval@yahoo.com), February 12, 2004.

Elpidio, next question:

would it be a greater sacrifice if:

(a) the Man-God underwent the Passion; or

(b) a Man underwent the Passion?

-- Ian (ib@vertifgo.com), February 13, 2004.

*laughing at Luke*

-- Gillian Dickenson (Gilliantwin@msn.com), February 13, 2004.

Ian,

that a holy man sent from God underwent the passion.

Why? God Yahweh cannot die. So he knows hewill still be God no mater what.

A divine ordained human can never be 100% sure he has attained salvation from God.

That is why Jesus prayed in the Garden of Getsemane. That is why Jesus said , Eloi, Eloi lama sabachtani, because he was afraid, not of his salvation persay 100% but if he had accomplished the mission he was entrusted with.

The Christian Yahwist

-- Elpidio Gonzalez (egonval@yahoo.com), February 13, 2004.

"A divine ordained human can never be 100% sure he has attained salvation from God."

obfuscatory.

it was never about salvation for Jesus.

it was about salvation for the rest of us.

as this is a protestant site, i will give you some Scripture when i get a chance.

anyways, the "perfect" sacrifice that we would expect from our perfect God would surely involve the sarifice of His Son, not the sacrifice of a mere mortal that had to hope for his salvation.

yes, the Divinity could never die and was not concerned with salvation; butthe point is that the God-man is the perfect sacrifice.

a tout a l'heure.

PS you are NOT a Christian.

The evidence is 5-to-1 that Jesus is not God Yahweh, Rod.

Even as Ian says la meme personne, I say, non. Ian follows the blind assumption that to be a Christian you must believe in certain dogmas: -The Virgin birth -The immaculate conception ----

Yet, even Jesus(The King) said, that in the judgement day, we will be judged by our actions, not our beliefs.

Matthew 25:The Sheep and the Goats

31"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' 37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' 40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' 41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.' 44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' 45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' 46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." (NIV)

Even in this passage, Jesus calls God his father.

In this other, Jesus even says that those who heard him and did not do what they were supposed to do, will not make it either in Luke 13:

22Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. 23Someone asked him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" 24He said to them, "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.' "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you come from.' 26"Then you will say, 'We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.' 27"But he will reply, 'I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!' 28"There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. 29People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. 30Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last."

That is what I have been trying to tell you all along, Rod and Jim.

It is righteousness before God which counts.

The Christian Yahwist/The Man of Yahweh

-- Elpidio Gonzalez (egonval@yahoo.com), February 18, 2004.

Rod, the other dogmas Ian discusses were not put in place after centuries later.

325-Jesus same substance as the Father (homoousios versu homoioousios) 431-Mary mother of God 451-Jesus two natures-divine and human 6th century-Jesus will 9th-11 centuries-The Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son 14th-15th centuries-Rosary-pray for the souls of purgatory 1870-Pope infallible 1950-Mary's assumption into Heaven

He can bark, chirp, and so on...yet Ian cannot 100% say that what we have are the original gospels as written by Jesus disciples.

That is why we must confront the evidence.

You remembered my dream about the mass celebrated without a priest. Basically, it was an echo of your above points, Elpidio, or, that we are on our own. Yes, it does have a gong-like ring of Protestantism, or should I say "radical-ism". Honestly, it goes way against my upbringing, which makes me nervous.

Yes, Rod.

Where the religion of your grandmother is not your own any more.

The Roman catholic hurch by not allowing divorce has disenfranchised millions of its members.

The Church has shot itself on the foot.

Hm. I'm not so sure that today's Catholic Church is the same as my grandmother's Catholic Church. It isn't even my father's old church. Ther big remark that still echoes in my mind is the one about the Church becoming "Protestant". No, I'm not asking for a doctrinal fight. It is just an observation I'm making.

Rod, a church which still lives in the past, will surely die.

The old people are afraid of change.

Look at the Presbyterians, at the Methodists, Evangelical Lutherans... at one time were the answer.

No more.

"Rod, the other dogmas Ian discusses were not put in place after centuries later. "

Elpidio

the question you might wish to ask is this:

what time did the first Pope, and the many after the first Pope, have to consider the finer points of the faith.

in between dodging the slings and arrows, do you not think that St Peter might have had proselytisation in mind?

do you not think that the imminent retrun of Our Lord might have shaped priorities in this manner?

do you not think that further thinking developed along with the further thinking of your Arrian and Nestorian heresies? -- Ian (ib@vertifgo.com), February 19, 2004.

Just a little contribution to the references to jeane dixon and the child of the east later she described as the antichrist. it is my belief that when jean dixon changed her stance on the dream she was being pressured by catholics, that is why she change the interpretation from child of the east to antichrist. There was a mention that ms dixon died without knowing if her prediction came true or not. She did know, but the public does not know. Ms dixon was contacted by the child and questioned. the child of the east is now an older man and has been persecuted relentlessly by catholics and christians, followed and harassed. when he dies the prophecy will come true, ie another religion will start, that is my belief. what is prophesied is sometimes not readily apparent.....so cassopiea sits in her chair
