sick rooster

Three days ago our two roosters were fighting. They are two years old and been together their whole life. Yesterday one rooster began to act strangly. He keeps his mouth open and makes a very dry, throaty sound like a crow without any volume. His tounge has gotten very white and milky. One of his eyes keeps producing this goo and we keep opening it up so it doesn't stick together. He is lethargic and will drink if we put water in his mouth, but haven't seen him drink on his own today at all. We checked all over him for wounds and don't really find any except we notice that his middle "toe" is bent (we are assuming that it got broken), but he doesn't seem to favor it. His crown and throat have become almost purple in color. It's almost as if he isn't getting enough oxygen. Just an hour ago he climbed in one of the roosting boxes head first and won't come out. Help!! Any advice???? Kate Griffith

hello ur rooster has fought too much & has bleed alot in that fight (ithink) so u should take good care of him now heres a list of some points :

1- first clean all the wounds with an antiseptic. 2- give him some blood increasing capsules plus spinach. 3- wash his mouth too with vinegar 3 times a day 4- do force feeding. 5- for the 1st to days give him some antibiotics 3 times a day. 6- u can do nothin about the toe but believe me it will cause no pain after some days.

I HOPE HE WILL B ALLRIGHT BECAUSE THE SAME SORT OF THING HAPPENED TO MY ROOSTER 1CE
