Yeah, I am also disappointed that they didn't show the uphill battle. However, the outcome would have been the same wether or not we saw it. I am realy excited about the next episode, especially with the sneak peak about that type-r.

Wats da point mate..watching Initial D, the AE 86 neva losses. yeah rite. Getting boring man...it's just one lame car wif da other prestigious ones. RX-7's failed, R 34 failed, Evo's failed...wats next Ferrari vs AE 86...and still in despair note. The actions are quite awesome. But i'm dissapointed...they made a god out of da car. Losing will increase the storyline..sensation. Now its too predictable....another 12 more EP...

I understand the disappointment, but the second race was going to be a formality really. The FD and R34 have the same power and layout (FR), but the FD is about 250 kgs lighter and carries it's weight lower, as well as being more compact. Given that we already know how good Keisuke is, it would have been a bit of a foregone conclusion really - better to spend the time focusing on Takumi's battle.

Information regarding 4th stage has been out for awhile, I'm almost certain it has long since been in some sort of manga/readable form. I've known for at least a year that at some point in Initial D Bunta obtains a WRX Sti Version V and beats Takumi, and then sure enough in the credits of 4th stage is Bunta driving a blue STi. There is also some girl in a black FD that he races (seen the toy). I mean, c'mon here, the figures and toys for 4th stage have been out for ages, it HAS to have been a manga already.

Really...Takumi was beaten by Bunta. Well from wat i heard his dad will come out of retirement and started to race in a imprezza WRX. But the most thought provoking is hearing Natsuki racing. Can't be man...hahha. Anyhow, i'm not whether dis is true or wat. Seems like Ryosuke will die in latter phases...just some spoilers hope not to happen..haha
