corrupted mpeg files?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

I have some mpeg files, listed as Movie file (mpeg) in Windows Explorer, and I have no problem playing them in Windows Media Player. However, when I try to use Sony's Click to DVD program to import these mpeg files as contents, it complains that they are not supported fomat or corrupted. Any clue on this? Thanks.

This is a VCD forum, but based on your question, I'm not sure if you are trying to make a VCD or DVD. http://www.dvdrhelp.com has some guides as to what VCD and DVD expect in terms of video and audio. You may have to re-encode them with something like TMPGenc (http://www.tmpgenc.net) to get them in a valid format so your Sony program will accept them.
