Every time i try to download something off of boxtorrent.com it always says problem connecting to tracker am i supposed to wait for the download or do something

Try to wait for a couple of hours. If it still doesn't work after 3- 4 hours, there's maybe a problem with their tracker. Be patient, there's some heavy traffic on boxtorrent's tracker.

A similar problem occured to me ("problem connecting to tracker - url open error:7, 'getaddrinfo failed') [the files would download for a short while, then stopped] recently. Previously, I could download for hours and days with no interupption at all. I was using a firewall and had been adjusting the settings in an attempt to solve this connecting problem. 2 days ago I 're-allowed' the 'P2P networking' programme at my firewall setting. Since then I have had no 'problem connecting to tracker...'. It appears that 'P2P networking'is important for continuous downloading with BitTorrent (I may have diallowed the programme at some point). (I have been using KaZaa and WinMX with no problmes at all while having P2P networking disabled all the time.0

Well if you got ur torrent file from Boxtorrents you might notice the site is down. Might that b the problem?

well, i read from a site in google that the domain was closed by avs since boxtorrents also upload hentai and the like. the guy who made it was asking for donations but right now i can't find the site anymore. he said there was a new domain and it'll be up soon, like within a week.
