My brother and his fiancee who are both Catholic are planning a wedding for late 2005. Will they be able to have an outdoor ceremony officiated by a Catholic Priest?

Due to job changes recently neither is currently registered at a Parish - My brother will be doing a residency in Madison WI and she will be in Rockford, ILL. He is registered at a Church in Chicago.

Probably not. Having an outdoor wedding (when both parties are Catholic) requires a dispensation from place/location by the bishop, which is rarely granted.

What's he doing his residency in? I like Madison, they've got some good folks there.

P.S. All I know about Rockford is that they have a Hell's Angel's chapter -- move to Madison would be my advice ;-)
