i am a professional spotwelder and i have been asked the question what is the proper size of a pulled nugget on .125 to .125 aluminum. H-5052 with class 1 electrodes 5/8ths in diameter

Answers

The US Mil. Spec. 5868D specifies 0.280 in. The Alcoa Aluminum Welding Handbook (1967) specifies 0.425 in.
