how long does a repossession debt last . after what length of time does a repo debt become void ?? after 9 years of the house being repossessed a letter was recieved saying money was owed yet nothing had been recieved before this letter.

Look at all the postings that refer to the 6-year and 12-year rules. There's a lot to take in but the answer to your question is there. Meanwhile don't do anything that acknowledges the debt and come back to the site with more detail if you need assistance - the number of people who are happy to help never ceases to amaze me.
