List of recognized organization?

Hi, I would like to know if there is an official list of all recognized organization by the vatican? I am looking for the sociétés des missions étrangères du québec.

Thanks for the info but how did you find out? I know them well enough to know that they are legitimate but I was woundering if there was a list of a site listing all the recognized organization. If they are recognized, what does it means exactly? that their priest can celebrate mass? Got commentary on the society? thanks

Got commentary on the society? thanks There is proabably a Catholic Directory for Canada, you can review at a Canadian parish. I know they are legit because they were established by the bishops of Quebec on February 2, 1921. There of a number of articles, similar to this that are on the Internet that point to their authenticity.

To be recognized means that they are part of the universal Church. To be able to say a mass, the individual priest has to have been ordained by a Catholic bishop and is in good standing with the Church.
