yes you can turn the motor on the side (yes it's possible with a 4 stroke but i reckomend a 2 STROKE) and if all you guys are wondering i turn the 4 stroke briggs on it side and modified the carby and some other things and stuck some fuel in and got it running! it was a test top weather it would work or not, i ran it to see if it would sieze! umm also what to do with your 2 stroke mower engine is to turn it on its side and make sure you have mounts to put it on other wise you could be in really bad trouble (dirrrr) um you'll need to either modify the shaft to fit a regular 3/4 clutch on it for direct drive! or you could spend a good 300 - 600 bux on getting a torgue converter! probably the best on to do is the shaft straight onto the wheel (not as much stuffing around as all the others. but the only downside is that you wont get the power to the wheel when put ur foot down!!!! cheers

No you cant it will not lubricate the engine properly, it will die in about an hour. Trust me on this one.

how the fuck do u think u can run a 4 storke on its side,it is possible,if its a briggs and stratton buy a conrod/oil dipper from a horizontal shaft and chuck the vertical shaft out,put the horizontal shaft conrod n,relocate ur carb, gas tank and make some sortsa oil plug and ur set, otherwise u can buy a victa 2 stoke ,swivel the carb and your done, also u cn bolt a maxtorque on
