I am writing a research report on behalf of Working Families (Nat. charity see our website, www.workingfamilies.org.uk)regarding the right to request flexible working. This was a new law introduced in April 2003 (for parents of children aged under 6 or 18 if disabled children) and we are reporting back to the DTI on parents experiences of how this law has helped (if at all) and what changes they would like to see.
