Catholic Answers Voter's Guide

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Catholic : One Thread

Catholic answers has produced a voter's guide to help faithful Catholics make intelligent decisions at the polls. See more here:

http://www.catholic.com/library/voters_guide.asp

We are going to have an election in the spring up in Canada. We have a yahoo 'Catholic' in the forerunning that is pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro-(insert evil here). I hope we can get a few hundred thousand voter's guides up here.

Yes, gay marriage certainly is evil. But there's nothing wrong with refusing healthcare to poor people. Or sending a few thousand of our boys off to die in Iraq (based on a lie). I'm sure glad we're focusing on the real evils here.

Canad awas pro Iraqi war? I think you are complainign of the wrong nation laddie bucks. Bit at leats toy agreed that Gay marriage is evil.

Anti-bush, your not Catholic, why are you posting on this thread? Actually, the murder of 4,000,000 children by abortionists should tell everyone to vote for the only candidate for president who has been endorsed by anti-abortion groups. That is Bush.

And no one should be ashamed of the liberation of Iraq a state where Saddam is responsible for over 1,000,000 deaths.

bill, youre number is too low.

Sadam has killed more than ten million.

Anti bush, youre number is too high...

opposed to what you believe, the military soldiers in iraq actually have a lower chance of dying than people in their age bracket here in the states. If you're an american soldier in iraq right now you have a BETTER chance of living longer... as one of my friends likes to say "'nuff said!"

again, we are allowing this thread to get highjacked. The subject of this thread is the constitutional ammendment.

"And no one should be ashamed of the liberation of Iraq a state where Saddam is responsible for over 1,000,000 deaths."

I'm not. I hope Saddam gets what he deserves (execution). But Iraq was no threat to the United States. It was not worth risking American lives to liberate a people we enslaved in the first place.

"Anti bush, youre number is too high..."

I'm not saying a few thousand of our soldiers have died (but too many have already), I'm saying that's how many will likely die if we don't get out of there.
