Is anyone interested in joining me for some informal O' practice on Saturday?

I was thinking of doing a session at Clinton Lake (not sure which map) on Saturday.

Gene -- Rockcrusher sounds fun to me. What time would be good? I'm flexible, but would rather not have to get up early in the morning!

OK, here is the plan...

We'll meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The meeting point will be on the top of the hill on the south end of the road that goes across the dam. If you drive south across the dam at Clinton Lake, the road climbs for about 1/2 mile. At the high point, just pull over and park on the shoulder.

If you have a Rockcrusher map, bring it. If not, we (i.e. Gene and I) will try to have an extra copy or two.

We'll probably just draw a long-ish course when we get there and then run it. Another possibility is to re-run some of the courses from the A-meet back in 1988(?).

I'd suggest you bring some water and some cash. Typically after a run at Clinton Lake, we hit the bagel shop on Clinton Parkway for a light lunch.

If you've got questions, send me a note.

I was thinking I haven't been on Rockcrusher in awhile. Or wherever is fine. I don't want to drive to Manhatttan to run this weekend. I wonder if we can get Patrick's course at Woodridge?

10 am OK?

Nancy, maybe Bob Malkames, and I would be interested in the O'Practice. The earlier...the better (9:00 a.m.?) We have something Sat. afternoon. We don't have any maps.

Word on the street is that they wouldn't let Mean Gene into the gym this morning. Look for Mean Gene to be well rested and running strong at training tomorrow!
