I'm new to DCC (in fact, relatively new to modeling in general), and so far I've managed to change most of my small but respectable fleet over to DCC. The only one that is giving me headaches is a Bachmann 2-8-0 Consolidation, non-Spectrum (Bachmann item # 41-530-11). I'm not sure even where to start with this one. I've had people tell me that I can only use certain brands of decoders in it, that the motor has to be changed, or that a decoder can't be installed at all because the motor can't be isolated. Anyone who has any advice on how to perform this installation, or to whom I might send it to have it done, I would appreciate your input. Thanks!!

Incidentally, I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but I'm using the AtlasMaster DCC system.
