I am looking to buy a used pair of sculls that I will shorten to 9' and adapt to traditional oarlocks and leathers for my 17' Monument River Wherry. Macon style blades are what I prefer. I have a nice pair of Spruce 9'ers that I made but they are heavier than I would like and I have never been happy with the balance. Non-wood materials are fine.
