All, I have not done this in a while I am trying to use the DB2 UDB scheduler to automate some tasks (regular DB backup for example), but I am receiving the SQL22221N reason code 1 error. My question is how do I make sure that the scheduler is enabled or that I have configure everything correctly which is what the error suggest.

Is there a checklist to ensure that my configuration parameters is set properly? How do you go about enabling the DB2 scheduler?

Any assistance in resolving this issue will be highly appreciated

1. Follow manual, especially SHED_ENABLED = ON ( which is default )

2. set same password in sheduled task and DB2ADMIN SETSCHEDID
