There are so many characters in the epic Dragonball that many of them just end up being neglected. Like villains that are killed off really early, ones with small roles, or some that just get left in the dust when better characters come along (Tenshinhan Chaozu Yamcha *cough cough*). So who's your favorite of these guys? I'd say 99.9999999999% of us have favorite characters among the main Z Senshi, and even more the Saiyajin. Is there anyone who's all time favorite character is a neglected one? Or maybe your favorite IS a Saiyajin, but who is your favorite of the neglected ones?

If ya didn't get that last sentence here's an example:

My favorite character EVER is Gohan-Kun. Duh, that's pretty much a no brainer. But my favorite neglected character is Tenshinhan. In Dragonball he really kicked ass, and his loyalty to Chaozu in the Saiyajin Saga particularly (After Chaozu is killed) is moving. So my fave character is Gohan-kun, but Tenshinhan is my fave NEGLECTED character. Wakatta? OK. NOW GIVE ME SOME ANSWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I kinda thought that Supreme-Kaioshin-whatever-the-hell-his- name-was was a pretty neglected character. I mean he had the whole history of fighting Majin Buu and almost being killed and helping Gohan and all that and he was pretty powerful for a non-Z-senshi. So yeah, that's what I say. And this is totally irrelevant but there is this guy on Jeopardy who is named "Rice" and every time Alex calls on him I say "Gohan" and my dad is very confused!

Yeah, Kuririn pretty much goes from strong Z Senshi to comic relief. I laughed my ass off in Movie #8 when they save Shamo from those guards and all Kuririn does is say "We're very strong guys." and punches the air and they all run for their lives...Hillarious!! Yeah, and Yonk, do you mean the East Kaioushin? His name is just Kaioushin!!!!!! And side question-Why do always write Freeza "Furieza"? It's either Freeza or Furiiza, where's the "e" come from?

And I thought of this yesterday after I said Tenshinhan was my fave Neglected character- BARDOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bardock kicks ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's only in a few flashbacks and his own TV Special movie, but still! You gotta feel bad for the guy. Radditz is pretty cool too. I decided that in my Doujinshii where I revived Radditz I'm gonna revive Bardock also. BARDOCK IS MY NEW FAVORITE NEGLECTED DBZ CHARACTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Bardock was neglected but )v(\/'s right, he has a whole Movie special! I actually think King Vegeta was pretty neglected, too. I mean he tried to kill Furieza (Freeza, Freezer, Furiiza, whatEVER) just as Bardock did and HE didn't get a whole movie to himself.

No, Goten is NOT neglected. Maybe you'd like to see him more but he's not neglected. Yeah, Vegeta Ou IS really neglected. But other than the Bardock Special I think Bardock is pretty neglected. He's really cool but nobody even seems to acknowledge that he's a DBZ Character. Like Radditz!!!!!!!! But yeah, to support Tenshinhan ALSO (though now only in second place for neglected to me) is a kick- ass character-His attacks! I mean, most characters have your basic "all-powerful Ki bolt that'll destroy everything within a 5 mile radius" type attacks (Kamehame Ha, Big Bang Attack, Makankosappo, Genki Dama, etc.), but what about the unique ones that Ten has?

--Kikouhou (Of course, the staple of Ten) --Taiyouken (Sure, in DBZ Gokou and Kuririn can use it too but it was originally Ten's, and you gotta admit it's cool for a strategic attack) --Hakkyuken (The Volleyball Attack) --ShinShin No Ken (His Multiple-Form Technique; another classic defensive move that outshined the Zanzouken in DB) --Shiyouken (The Four-Arm Tech.; honestly!! Name someone who can do a more interesting and creative attack than this!!!...Besides Majin Buu's Henka Beam, cuz how cool would it be to turn anything you zap into candy?!)

So there!!! Ten may not have the gargantuan balst radius Ki bolts but he does have some pretty damn creative techniques!!!!

...And despite everything I just said I STILL like Bardock better? Hm.

Bardock has a tail!!!!!!!!!!!! And he has hair!!!! And a cool headband!! And he had to watch his best friend die and all his crew (Well he SAW them dead, not dying...) and the blood of his best friend stained his headband crimson red and he fought all his might to kill Freeza and failed (Duh) but with his last breath hailed his son who at the beginning he had only considered "scum" cuz his Sentouryouku (Power Level) of 2 and as Gokou's ship headed to Earth we hear Bardock's last...Uh...Well he's dead so I think thoughts...:

"Kakarotto yo...Ore no isshou tsuge. Saiyajin no...Wakusei Vegeta no kataki yo...Omae ga utsurun da!!" (Kakarotto...Carry out my will. The Saiyajin...Planet Vegeta's fate...Avenge them all!!)

And yeah...So I like Bardock better...

Yeah, I recently saw a music video titled "Bardock's last hours" and it really glorified his whole struggle. I still think that Bardock wasn't really neglected because of the whole movie, but he's still cool!

"Spirit Ball" would translate to the Genki-Dama, which only Gokou can use...Which attack are you reffering to?

Yeah, I think way back in Dragonball, Yamcha had an attack that he called the spirit bomb and it was actually called that but is unrelated to the Genki Dama.

MY Fav Charecter is Freeza..very powerful it start....the Buu Saga and some other sagas were messed up after his becuz he was supposed to be the MOST POWERFUL being in the world, b4 the SSJ.....my fave neglected charecter is Radditz......how can the brother of the one of the most powerful beings in all the history of the Universe have a KI level of 1,200...which is equal to a Saibaman which Chibi Vegeta tossed around

My Fave neglected Z Character is Yamcha all the way! My fave period is Goten and my second is Yamcha! And the Son Family! Yamcha's Spirit Ball Attack ( If you've played Dragonball Z Budokai 2, you'd know what I'm talking about ) is da bomb! Get it? the bomb??!! OK not funny, but oh well. Also I like Tien Shinhan also. And Krillin! I like the Human fighters ( Yamcha, Tien, Krillin, Choutzu ) and The Son Family ( Goten, Goku, Gohan, Pan, Videl and Chi-Chi )! Have you noticed that Gohan ( at the end of DBZ ) looks sorta like Yamcha in the Android saga ( Excluding the Scars and the Orange/Red gi )? Cool huh?

Funny you should mention the Gohan/Yamcha lookalike stuff!! A LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGG time ago, when I was just getting into DBZ (I watched the DUB for Christ Sakes, and I LIKED it!!!!! GAAAAAHHHH!), I bought a pack of really tiny DBZ figures. Well I had only seen up to Mid-Freeza Saga, and only knew of the Cell and Buu Saga from sumaries and pictures. I got a toy of Yamcha and I thought it was Gohan!!!!!!! So yeah...They really do look alike, with the exception of the eyes and Yamcha has scars, plus he looks older. But yeah!!

hmm the best neglected character, Videl hands down. She's Hercule's kid and can kick his but anyday. Marries Gohan having my second favorite character Pan. She also flies even though she's human, adding a much needed partner to the great Saya man team. But the best character of all is Vegita *-*. Freeza is I agree the best Villan.

And also what the Hell is a Hercules? There is no Dragonball character named after the greek hero I'm sorry. And Videl is Mr. Satan's daughter also. Videl DOES kick a lot of ass. It's a shame she turned into a wuss like her husband by the end of DBZ!! And I also love Goten's hair at the end of DBZ!!! It's so gay in GT!!!! But GT sucks...In my Dragonball Manga (Dragonball IGNO) he's got that hair and he wears the shirt that says "Goten Son" on it. And what's great is that you really don't get to know Goten as a teen so in my Manga I get to create his personality!! He's really nice but like his dad is naive and kinda dumb. But he's so cute!!! Yay!!

And Freeza the coolest villain?! The most badass and evil maybe, but I gotta say Perfect Cell is my fave. He may be a cheap copy of all the Z Senshi but he's got every ability in the book...Plus he's just so cool looking!! And shiny!!
