1852 Tales two volumes value

greenspun.com : LUSENET : The Work of Edgar Allan Poe : One Thread

I currently own 3 separate volumes of "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" published by Vizetelly in London 1852. A two volume set, series one and two, illustrated & with a frontice of Poe in Vol. 1. And the third book is series one only, 1852 but twentieth thousand. I am well versed in Poe, his works, when they first appeared & so on. But it is time to part with them, and I cannot find a single reference anywhere to what the value of these books might be (yes I checked abe etc.). This edition is described in detail on this site, and most of what it says I was already familliar with, but again nothing pertaining to its value.....Anyone?

Several copies of these books, and this same edition (not the slightly later reprint), have sold on eBay over the last few years in the $200-$600 range.
