Im just about to purchase either the 2003 F4 1+1 MV or the 2004 749s. Im leaning towards the MV. Is there any tests out the available on the net which compare the two. I found one, but it was from an Italian mag. which gave the first few paragraphs then stops.

Thanks Craig..Can you tell me the outcome of the tests. Im going to either order the 749s or the MV tomorrow, and dont have time for the magazine to be delivered to Australia.

Michael...Italian Bike Mag liked them both, The Ducati was the fastest on the track, but they loved the MV for its build quality and its beauty and its sound. Personally I sold my Ducati Monster so I could purchase an MV Brutale, so Im rather biased . Whatever you choose will be a great motorcyle so enjoy.

Yeah, the last post about sums it up. They seemed to prefer the MV for its style and outright performance, but reckoned the 749 easier to live with. I've seen a couple of good write ups on the new 749, so don't think you would go far wrong with either purchase.
