Central of Georgia Excursion Ads to Tybee Island

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Central of Georgia Railway Historical Soc : One Thread

Hi. I am looking for reproductions or original ads that Central of Georgia produced advertising excursions to Tybee Island in the early 1900's. One of them is shown on the Historical Society website in the June 24, 2003 article "Tybee Island Growing in Popularity". It shows a vintage old ad with the phrase "TYBEE Where Ocean Breezes Blow" and people on the beach. There is also a different one in the Tybee Island Museum on Tybee Island. My wife and I recently purchased a small cottage on Tybee Island and are in love with Tybee and its rich history. If anyone has a high resolution digital scan of an original ad I would be interested in that as well. Lastly, I think these old excursion ads would sell well for the historical society at places like the Tybee Island Museum and downtown Savannah if high quality reproductions could be produced. Thank you in advance for any responses.
