edgar allan poe lived all around death so he used that. in annabell lee it was about his dieing wife. he used mostly every thing that happened to him in his writing. his mood was dark and darey and kinda dreamy. he wrote what he saw and what he lived in. he was diferent than any other writer back than. he wrote dark creepy things that scared people.
