Madame L'Espanaye

greenspun.com : LUSENET : The Work of Edgar Allan Poe : One Thread

I am directing "Nevermore", a play about one theory of Poe's death. At one point multiple characters from different tales come back to haunt him. These include Roderick Usher and Hopfrog. Someone asked me what story Madame and Mademoiselle L'Espanaye were from and I couldn't answer. Any help would be appreciated. I'm very busy with all that's going on and I told this person I would look. Thank you for your help.
