Techniques such as vivid detail, excelent grammer, wonderful plots/climax make Edgar Allan Poe's work elaborate works of art. But the key to making such wonderful pieces is that it came form his heart. He took parts of his life and practically disguised them with words and made them into books. Some things he based all his literary pieces on where called his five obsessions. -The death of a beautiful woman -The fear of insanity -The fear of tuberculosis -The fear of abandonment by men -The fear of being buried alive Each of these where created from different (some simular) parts in his life, and can be found if you pay close attention in all of his writing pieces.
