The duties and responsibilities of the Stewards include: receiving and making an exact account of all funds for the support of the church’s ministry; providing a parsonage or make other housing arrangements for the pastor and the pastor’s family; providing relief for members in need; and assisting the minister to promote and encourage spiritual growth of all members.

Did that answer your question?

P.S. Welcome to the Board!

Thank you for that Discipline answr, however, my church has fallen from those atributes of a steward. I am praying God will move and perhaps one day we will all be on one accord.

A steward is no different than any other member. They have special responsiblilites in having this position as a Steward which Rev. Harper has already mentioned. The one thing however I would say if I had to pin point a difference is that the Steward should be one that one can see that there is a definate Spirituallity about them.
