I have a Savage model 12FV and need info on the appropriate mount base/bases. All liturature that I have shows weaver 46 front and weaver 61 rear. This #61 is incorrect as the bottom of the base is flat. The rear portion of receiver is round unlike the savage 110.I could just get another weaver 46, but I'd like a little higher set to allow for the traditional mile-wide bolt throw of a savage.Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Savagely frustrated.

O.k. guys. I got it. The new weaver charts differentiate between pre and post accutrigger rear mount. The accutrigger model's receiver is round- hence both front and rear mounts are #46. I just use medium high rings to allow for the bolt throw. Thanks anyway.
