Hi all, My database Version is Oracle 9iR2 (9.2.0.3.0 ) running on Sun ultra 250R Server.Even though lot of free space exitsing in the tablespaces,it's throwing the error "unable to extend tablespace" .All the tablespaces are Locally managed with Uniform alloaction type except for system tablespace.space usage is as follows. TABLESPACE USED MB FREE MB TOTAL ------------------------------ ---------- ---------- ---------- ISONTS_ACCT_DAT 4797 3203 8000 ISONTS_ASP_DATM 4550 16900 21450 SYSTEM 136 1848 1984. ********************************************************************* 2:07 ----------------- Current Tablespace status ------------------------ 22:07 Auto MaxDF 22:07 Tablespace Used% Limit Status Ext growth 22:07 -------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:07 ISONTS_ACCT_DAT 60 90 ONLINE Y -2049 22:07 SYSTEM 6 90 ONLINE Y -124544 even though 94% free space is existing in SYSTEM tablespace,it's showing unable to extend. Other non system tablespaces are of 40%free in space, showing the same error. What is the reason for this.? and what is the remedy? It's very arjent.can anybody suggest me the siolution for this.
